The history of Cordys Switzerland AG began a few years ago when Felix Honegger met his former competitor, Jan Baan in Holland. Both led ERP software manufacturers for many years. In a conversation, Jan Baan and Felix Honegger discovered that there was a common understanding of how the problems surrounding the ERP implementations (according to Jan Baan Enterprise Resource Problem...) can be solved in larger companies.

As so often in life, individual encounters can influence the development of the future. For example, following a firm examination of Cordys BPMS technology, Felix Honegger founded Cordys Switzerland AG to enable Swiss companies to access the innovative solution.

In the enterprise/provider environment, as well as in larger organizations in general, it can be achieved that the complexity of the business processes, as well as the IT and application infrastructure is reduced, and the agility is increased at the same time. OpenText Cordys technology is a key to this.
We continue to work to push the boundaries of enterprise information management (EIM) and business process management (BPM) capabilities to enable people and companies around the world to use our "know made processes" in the future.

Since January 2022, Cordys AG also has an offshoot in the USA, with Cordys Switzerland LLC in the greater Seattle area, to meet the needs of the American market.
